To all the members of this site that made it to the rally and DID make a difference. I so desperately wanted to be there but just had too many things in the way. I am past applauding your efforts and stand in full salute of your dedication to get this done.
I watched what I could on the stream and was impressed. Bravo gents! Bravo!

I thought there was going to be millions of you guys marching on DC ! Anglers, boat builders, tackle shops, tackle manufacturers, and marine industry in general.

I remember marching on London in 2002 in support of the CountrySide Alliance - there were over 400,000 of us (probably more anglers alone in the US than total population in the UK). What happened in DC ?

It was a great event with a very impressive turn out - people from up and down the east coast - FL, Gulf Coast, Alaska, California.....very impressive turn out...hopefully we made an impression on washington!

I agree with both Roddy and Marty on this one, both valid points. I was there, not a commercial guy, hell I don't really bottom fish, but I was there. I made family sacrifices to get there, thanks to my mother in law.( my God, did I just say that?!?!?!)

There is a huge difference with the Countryside Alliance of 2002 and the RFA Rally. Let me tell you if our government tried to do something similar to what Scotland succeeded in doing (banning all traditional fox hunting), Millions of hunters would show up in DC and it would not be pretty.
