Tom thanks for the reminder! I am also going to St. Maarten on 12/16 to 12/26 and I was going to try and get some advice here as well. I am from South Carolina and I am close friends with a brother of a charter captain, Lee Halley, who runs a charter boat there and they say he is the guy to go to. I will most likely fish with him.

Fish with Lee, He has a professional charter outfit and he wont take you for a boat ride, Hes has to catch fish to supply his resturant which is also an awesome place,Lees roadside grill. He offers 1/4,1/2, or full day. this time of year you have a great shot at some wahoo and mahi, who knows mabey a blue marlin. The Island has same seasons similiar to St. Thomas so its not the best time for marlin but u never know. I have a time share we go every year but are taking this year off, Im on a huge construction Job In AC and cant get the time off so reading your post is killing me lol. Enjoy your vacation and be sure to let us know how you make out....
