Squid Jigging along Carolina???

I was watching National Geographic last night and they were jigging BIG squid...I've seen squid jigging on the west coast but was wondering has anyone jigged for them around here(Carolina) or anywhere on the east coast?

they do squid jigging trips up north..the new england guys should be able to give us some help. the season are usually about a month or so..but the squidding reports are good..coolers full of nice squid

I've jigged them offshore drifting for swordfish out of Wrightsville/Topsail area in the past. Not big ones though, they were about small/medium size.

I don't think we have Humboldt squid on the east coast
