Squid Dragger Anchor Cutoffs

The January/February 2007 issue of the Big Game Fishing Journal has been shipped out to subscribers last week. This is the issue containing the editorial on squid dragger anchor cut-offs in the northeast canyons. I've posted the editorial in its entirety today, 1-2-07 on our website at www.biggamefishingjournal.com for all to read.
If you experienced a problem with an anchor line cutoff in the canyons last season, I would recommend you read this and contact the proper authorities listed. Maybe we can nip this problem in the bud before someone gets hurt or worst.

What a bunch of assholes. I've seen a few close calls and heard of a few hits, but never have I heard of such blatant douchebaggery! In addition to reporting and recording these jerks, some razor wire and large cindre blocks placed in front of the offending vessels is an excellent way to handle such things. Some lights out shotgun blasts might be a good idea too. Best regards,

We had a very near miss with these assholes last year. If they approach my vessel on a collision course intentionally again this year, I WILL fire upon their wheelhouse. I have the right to protect my vessel and the passengers onboard. If they think I am kidding, well then they need to try me....
