    Squid

I was out fishing a couple weeks ago when the back half of a big squid floated up next to the boat. The piece was still purplish red and leaking ink and the chunk I got probably weighed 10 pounds and was all tore up by something big. I did get a whole undamaged flipper in though and that is pictured next to a cleaned 25 pound yellowfin to give some context I wish I would have either seen what ate it or the whole squid.

On a different note I am getting married on April 14th. So I will be a little hard to get in touch with between the 12th and about the 22nd of april. Just email me with anything and Ill get back with you after I get back from the honeymoon.

Those pieces of squid would make killer dolphin weenie bait strips.

That was not a yellowfin that I cleaned. Trust me on that.

It had to be a shark. It had some pretty good slashes in it. I dont believe theres any swords around here big enough to do that and it was pretty obvious the attack had just happened and there didnt appear to be any whales around at the time either.
