SOUTH SHORE TUNA TOURNEY WHO'S IN?

Just curious as to who is going to be fishing the tournament. We will be fishing the Contender Regulator Shootout in Montauk and the SSTT in Marshfield MA the same weekend so it will be scatter brains for us.

Captain’s Meeting: Friday Sept. 5th
Fish Days: Sept. 6 th & 7th (Sat. & Sun)
Early Entry Fee: $395 per vessel
Target species: Bluefin Tuna (between 48”
Weigh Stations in Scituate and Green Harbor,
Other weigh station sites are under review.

Hope to see lots of familiar faces there! We will be keeping the boat in Montauk.

I think that there are expect at minimum of 150 + boats. The rules will soon be released.

Remember guys 17' boats have just a good a chance as big boat, Catch'em up.

Just a reminder any Contender boats old or new big or small are entitled to a paid slip and ice at our chosen location for any tournament.

Also there will be another 21' Contender given away to the winners of the tournament.

I am going to be there. I tried to talk him into holding a weigh station in plymouth, but he was concerned about having enough scales. The facilities are alot better in Plymouth then Green Harbour, as far as hotels,slips, moorings, and places to eat( i think). He also said he was looking at the marshfield fair grounds for the meetings and banquet? we will see

Mary, Team Tuna Meltdown will be fishing this tournament for certain. I did not fish it last year but it sounds like it could quickly become as popular as The Monster Shark Tournament. There has been Alot of those 47"-73" bluefin around Stellwagon aswell. I can't wait for this one. It should be awsome.
