    Soft mono rigger line

I know I asked this last year but I forgot so here it goes again. Im looking to replace my rigger lines and i have only used nylon cord but this time I want to go with mono. I purchased the mono that meltons sells for outriggers but its a hard mono. I was on a boat last fall that used a clear mono for the riggers that was soft and you didn't have a overtighen it to get the slack out of it. Can someone help me out with what brand name of line to get.

    Thanks Dave

Jinki leader is a softer mono, only thing i can think of off the top of my head, the momio outrigger doesnt seem that hard to me but im not sure of the stuff that you have and the difference in it. Why do you have preference in softer rigger line?

I was given some 800lb mono thats used for commercial fishing. Its soft and works great. Most of us here in NC use it.

Yup, the thicker the more user friendly.

I have used the 400 multi colored Momoi as well, but to tell you the truth, weedwacker cord works just as well if not better, and is 1/4 the price. You can get it in just about any color you want, I have blue and black

I tried to find old-school weed wacker cord when I was re-rigging mine. Unfortuinately, all of the cord I found was star shaped instead of round. Seemed like it would do a number on wet hands. I assume they still make round cord but I couldn't find it (HD, Lowes).
