Very good... Now youre catchin on. But once a tourney is over you gotta do the prep work on what you just used. I "live" months ahead of myself stayin on top of the stuff. Its July and a couple weeks ago tore down our sailfish sets and put em back together cause they get stiff just sittin in the heat and humidity... Even have our "a" set for the islands next year done. The "b" set and other individual pieces that will be going to OC were done in May and will be done again when I get home... The point of having stuff ready that far in advance is that you free up time for other things like scouting and gathering intel... It also allows you to add a quickie along the way like this one... All I really needed to do was pump up the size of my local rigs to accomodate slightly bigger baits. Boat is all set as we keep em all ready to rock most all the time. We stagger down time (yard) so we always have at least two at the ready.

    Well said Anthony.

Can t remember the last time a Grander let me know when and where she was coming.

Is it fair to your boss or clients not to give it 100% every day ?

Its not fair to ones self to be anything less than ready at any time... No point in being out there if youre not gonna give it your all before during or after... As mentioned above the best time to start preparing is when you tie up from the trip before...
