For all of us that cant stand to deal with the dogfish problem we have in the Northeast and probably in other areas too, i give you this- tips n technical info on how to catch them from a English fishing site ,(note they call them hard fighting!) not to tough around here - damn things eat anything that swims from the surface to 800' feet down. And on my boat we always vent them so they can make it back down- lol

Yup we do fish for them but we use what you would call black bass set ups 8lb /12lb line nice fast taper rods.

Maybe if we bring all of England over they'll be gone...but I doubt it. I practice kill and release myself.

Cut their belly meat into strips for flounder bait. Other than that they're useless.
