Had a big'un whack three fingers off a new decky who didn't follow our regular system that nobody ever got bit doing. Happened so fast, you almost couldn't see it. No chewing, just "whack". No fun for the guy who got bit. Me neither. I had to stop the bleeding, pick up the fingers and put them in a plastic bag. Then we hauled ass a long ways for the docks and docs. Worst part was, it ruined a wide-open chawdawgy bite!

knew of a guy last summer, went off of Hatteras, not too far to bluewater. Got into some gaffers, and a Wahoo... The nice day of beer drinking ended rather abrupt when the kid's Achilles Tendon was severed by Mr. Silver Slimy Head-shaker!
