Left the dock at 7:00 am headed to the elephant trunk, the water temp was 64. Drifted with no action until 1:00 pm when we saw two makos in the slick. Close line with a red skirted filet goes off. Hooked the fish brought him in, aproximately 60 inches released it to fight another day. After that drifted for another hour with no action. We had to be in early to get ready for a fishing charity for mentally challenged kids tomorrow. I heard of a couple other makos being caught or lost in the area of the elephant trunk and misty blue.

just a lil guy. i was fishing that L.I.B.T tournment today and catch a mako on the troll. about 30lbs small fish .. see one in the spred earlier in the day easy 200 lbs but we were trolling all rapollas and weird blue fish shit .guess he didnt like but loaded up on blue fish for that ladies tournment . aight man talk to you see ya out there.
