    simrad AP16

i've installed approx 10 of these units, they've since been updated to the AP24.
these units are fantastic, they hold the course arrow straight, and with the "virtual feedback" the installation is a snap=the directions are easy to read and seem to be made to fit for the do it yourselfer...the units i've installed are now approx 4 seasons old,all of them are still going strong with absolutley no problems reported...i highly reccomend them...

We bought this ff/gps combo unit this past spring to put in our new boat 26 albemarle CC. absolutly wonderful unit, i love the ease of use. once you lay out your routes and mark your waypoints it's so easy to bring them up even on the fly. The FF is also wonderful lots of options to play with and a great screen that can be seen even when the sun is shining on it. VERY happy with this unit good choice for serious boaters!!

    Garmin rino 130

A few years back I decided to purchase a handheld gps. I decided to get a Garmin because of its software and ease to navigate.

This waterproof FRS/GMRS radio plus GPS navigator has a built-in barometric altimeter and electronic compass, NOAA weather radio, voice scrambler and vibrate mode for your wildest outdoor adventures.

Garmin makes great products and I have not had a single complaint about any of the ones I have tried. This handheld has proved to be quite handy.

It is small, light, dependable and a great backup for any occasion. There was one time when I stayed out far too late searching for a wounded deer when I realized I was completely lost. I had marked the location where I set up my climbing treestand and also the last spot of the deer. With the clear lcd illuminated display and 14 hour batter life, the garmin 130 helped find my way home.

This terrific product is easy to carry and comes in handy when you need it. It works well on the water and in the woods. As long as there is a clear single you will be found!

    Features

    Stay Aware of Your Surroundings

Rino 130’s barometric altimeter pinpoints your precise altitude, and its built-in electronic compass provides bearing information even while you're standing still. To help you keep tabs on changing weather conditions, Rino 130 has a built-in weather radio that scans for the nearest NOAA weather radio station. You can also set up a weather alert tone, so when your radio is on, it will alert you when a storm warning is being broadcast for your area.

    Stay Secure

For extra-secure communication, Rino 130 can scramble your radio signal to secure it for your intended recipient. When you want to maintain silence, you can set your 130 to vibrate mode — especially helpful when you're hunting that big buck.

    Find Your Friends

Like the rest of the Rino series, Rino 130 offers a Position Reporting feature so you can send your exact location to other Rino users in your group so they can see your position on the map page. And, because Rino is a standard FRS/GMRS radio, you can use it to communicate with any other conventional FRS/GMRS radio around.

    Add More Detail

Rino 130 can save up to 500 of your favorite places in memory as waypoints so you can visit them later. The 130 also has a built-in Americas highway basemap and 24 megabytes (MB) of internal memory so you can load additional detailed maps from optional MapSource® products.

    Pelican 1010

For those of you who have yet to purchase a pelican product, you need to do so now. I have lost 3 cellphones and 2 cameras to water damage. Since, I purchased the Pelican 1010 micro case series and I have yet to damage my cellphone and I still have my camera.

SFC IS SELLING THIS PRODUCT FOR LESS THAN 10 BUCKS!!!!

    The Pelican 1010:

    - Holds most cellphones and cameras
    - Has a soft foam interior
    - Has a hard plastic exterior
    - Is shockproof
    - Waterproof
    - comes with a lanyard
    - Is a no brainer for protecting you small electronics when out on the water!!!!!!!

I love this product and keep my camera in it during every fishing trip. Not to mention, it allows you to keep it handy during any weather condition so you don't need to scramble when the fish of the lifetime is about to spit the hook!!!
