Fast Find PLB

The World's Most Compact and Affordable Range of Satellite Personal Locator Beacons

Revere is proud to announce the amazing new FAST FIND Satellite Personal Locator Beacon (PLB): the most compact, waterproof and versatile 406 MHz emergency location beacon available on the market today. FAST FIND is manufactured by McMurdo, producers of emergency locator beacons for more than 20 year, has used the latest developments in electronic design to produce its newest PLB. Like many other search and rescue agencies around the world, the US Coast Guard has long been familiar with McMurdo's range of emergency locator beacons.

FAST FIND is an essential piece of life-saving equipment, weighing in at just 5.3 oz (150g) and having the size of an average mobile telephone (actual dimensions being 1.34" x 1.85" x L 4.17") it will slip into the smallest pocket or backpack compartment. The user can activate it in the most remote locations around the world: on land, at sea or in the air, and can be confident of being able to contact the world's professional search and rescue services directly if they are to encounter a possibly life-threatening situation.

FAST FIND comes equipped with an integral 50-channel GPS system and complies with rigid federal and international standards. It operates on the global COSPAS SARSAT 406MHz search and rescue satellite communication system, so a call for help will be acted upon...and fast. The FAST FIND is subscription FREE and does not rely on any commercial call centers.

All FAST FIND models transmit two signals simultaneously: a global 406 MHz signal and a 121.5MHz local signal. Once activated, FAST FIND's signals will continue to transmit for at least 24 hours, at a powerful 5 watt output, the 406 MHz transmission ensures that a call for help gets through, no matter what the conditions. FAST FIND also includes a unique flashing SOS LED light to further assist in speeding up the user's recovery time during night rescues.

FAST FIND will operate in temperatures as low as -20°c and its integral battery has a user storage life of 5 years, so there?s no need for frequent battery changes or re-charging.

Put a FAST FIND in your pocket, and get found fast

Airhead Slice

If your into watersports, or you got kids and need a fun towable for the boat. This thing rocks.
Easy to inflate and deflate. Super heavy duty nylon cover. the handles and tow part are very well made. We abused this thing and the way it's built it will take many more seasons of abuse.
One feature we really appreciated being a bit large around the waist and having kids. Is the back end of the slice is tapered to 5 or 6 inches so its really easy to get on while your in the water. We've had other brands in the past and its really a PIA sometimes especialy by the end of the day when your tired, this is a nice feature.

Well after a couple of days searching I finally found something I had purchased. It is the 5x6 DryPak. I bought it over a year ago after trying to jump to the boat as the wind pushed it away from the dock one Friday after Thanksgiving. I amost had made a successful leap but as my hand slipped off the rail on the express top I managed to fall and use the armpit catch of the bow rail. The few seconds of excruciating pain sent me into the slip. After receiving a torn shirt and quite a few barnicle scrapes I managed to get my fat butt onto the floating dock. It was then that I realized I failed to put my cell phone in the boat. So with a new Blackberry in hand I started searching for something to put it in.

Thus the purchase of the DryPak. So far it has lived up to its name. It has kept the phone dry in the rain. When we took a wave over the bow and it was sitting in the walk around part of the boat and the wave sent it to the transom it stayed dry. But the best part was when I dropped it over the side it floated. I would recommend this product as mine has lived up to the reputation.

On a side note while looking through everything I found the Otterbox for Blackberry so I ordered it since I also have a habit of dropping my phone on concrete, docks, floors, etc.

Pelican cases

Pelican cases, one can not say enough good things about them, they are next to bullet proof. Water proof, crush proof and vacuum tight. I keep my cameras as well as my master license and other paper work in mine. I have seen people standing and sitting on mine. Had it fall off the trailer, dropped off the boat on to the dock. I have 6 if them now and use them for everything. Drag it through the mud in the duck blind or stuff it in your ditch bag for your radios and such, you can't go wrong wit a Pelican case.

This case has seen it all, water, snow, mud, pavement, dogs and more. I would venture to say the it has been photographed more that any other Pelican case, and has been used as a model and a background...

I like keeping one of these on the little boat to keep my cell phone in. Keeps the water and moister out and should it go overboard, the case is water proof and floats...

I got the Triton 400 outdoor adv. pack about 6 months ago. It is easy to use, and comes with credits with national geographic. You can load squares on there that show great detail of the areas you want to frequent. I was amazed that I could see creek beds, old roads, and trails on the gps. Aloha Admin

Thanks for the heads up and the great work you are doing with this web site. I try to buy my most of my tackle locally in Kona even though it may cost me more. With things the way they are, I don't want to see any more of the Kona tackle shops closing. There's already been one good one. If there is something I can't get through one of them, I would gladly order through sportfishermen.com
