I have owned a pair of these downriggers for over ten years, and they have made me a better fisherman. They have features that allow me to spend more time fishing and less time deploying lures. Specifically, the pre-set depths allow me to set a pre-set for each release clip. I generally stack two release clips for each downrigger. By pushing two buttons, I can have the downrigger go to any realease clip pre-set for re-rigging. I don't need to hold a switch until it gets there. It also has the cycle feature which will auto cycle the downrigger up and down according to your time and depth settings. eg. 20' up/down every 60 seconds. One of the deadliest daisy chains pulled in the northeast canyons. A must have for any hard core offshore afficianado. This chain creates an enormous amount of commotion.

This is a go to lure when both inshore and offshore fishing. It has great action with in the wash or sent back a ways.. Either way this lure has caught us bluefin, yellowfin, mahi, and ever had a few whites sniff up on it in the past.. It works great as a teaser and with the hook it is instant hook up!
