Cannon Digi-Troll Downriggers

I have owned a pair of these downriggers for over ten years, and they have made me a better fisherman. They have features that allow me to spend more time fishing and less time deploying lures. Specifically, the pre-set depths allow me to set a pre-set for each release clip. I generally stack two release clips for each downrigger. By pushing two buttons, I can have the downrigger go to any realease clip pre-set for re-rigging. I don't need to hold a switch until it gets there. It also has the cycle feature which will auto cycle the downrigger up and down according to your time and depth settings. eg. 20' up/down every 60 seconds. I used these downriggers to catch this Lake Trout, which for the lake I was fishing in here in California, was considered a trophy. You can see the digi-troll behind me.

DIGI-TROLL™ IV HS
Engineered to be years ahead of its time, so you can keep up.

HEAD OF THE CLASS
The innovations of the Digi-Troll™ IV let you take complete control. Utilize the cycle function to automatically jig the weight up and down, or use bottom tracking mode to keep the weight at a certain distance from the bottom. The Digi-Troll IVs memory can even store up to five different depths, and automatically deploy or retrieve the cannonball at different speeds.

CLASSIC ENGINEERING
At the foundation of these technological innovations are an industry-leading ball retrieval rate, powerful telescopic boom and agile low-profile swivel base. When you couple legendary Cannon® performance with ingenious design, you get peak downrigger performance.

Features:

•Cycle function automatically jigs the weight up and down at a set depth/time interval

•Memory storage remembers up to five different depths

•Retrieve memory lets you program retrieve rates of 110, 150 or 250 feet per minute

•20-lb weight capacity

•Bottom tracking mode keeps weight at a set distance off the bottom (with optional transducer sold separately) and multiple downriggers can be networked to one transducer (with optional relay cables sold separately)

•250-feet-per-minute retrieval rate is the fastest in the industry

•Positive Ion Control with adjustable voltage lets you regulate the fish-attracting electrical field around your boat

•New IP68 waterproof power cable connector

•Short-Stop safely stops weight retrieve at waterline

•Low-profile swivel base, dual rear rod holder and two line releases

This is a go to lure when both inshore and offshore fishing. It has great action with in the wash or sent back a ways.. Either way this lure has caught us bluefin, yellowfin, mahi, and ever had a few whites sniff up on it in the past.. It works great as a teaser and with the hook it is instant hook up! Really enjoy this product and it is a big time producer in our spread!
