If you are in OC Maryland, I can help with the tying- and the materials are at OC Fishing Center, All Tackle and Ake. If you are some other OC, I can not be of as much help

Get up with "fishfinder", Capt. Joe for your material's. Then sit down in a comfortable chair at a good sized desk and start tying. Then call Capt. Joe and order more tying supplie's ,because it is addictive. Especially when your new found hobby start's cathing fish ,that shelf bought model's don't. I've been making my own for quite some time (many year's). The biggest thing that I see to getting started is your starting and finishing wrap's. Frank
OC, I make sea witches, squid witches and a lot of of other lures. I get the hair from SNL fishing supply and thread and other supplies from Janns net craft. You can find them on the internet, these suppliers will have what you need to get started. If you don't want to mail order you can most likely get what you need from Ake marine or OC fishing center or other tackle shops near the coast.
Good luck,
