just a short bitch here, why is it every time an eye on your rod comes loose the guy at the tackle shop has a smart ass comment?

Here's the deal, i broke the tip off a rod my father bought me years ago, i mean years ago. i am the only one to use this rod and it has treated me well. so why cant this $12 an hour moron just fix the damn thing. can i afford a new rod, hell yea, i got 6 new ugly sticks in the cabin, but my dad didnt buy these for me. my dad passed 30 years ago, maybe its time to start fixin these things myself...mind you, did you ever go in a tackle store and only get the 1 thing you needed, i didn't think so...any body got any glue...

SNAKE, NOW YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL WHEN I AM HANGING OUT IN THE COCKPIT OF THE RUN-OFF HOPING TO PICK UP A FEW PERSPECTIVE CLIENTS WALKING THE DOCKS , DINING AT THE LOCAL EATERY....AND THEY WALK UP AND FIRST ASK WHAT THE WEATHER IS GOING TO BE TOMORROW.....I THEN GET EXCITED SOMEWHAT WITH THE POTENTIAL HERE....I GO INTO MY WEATHERMAN SPILL THAT IT IS GOING TO BE VERY FISHABLE AND THAT WE SHOULD CATCH SOME MAHIS AND SAILFISH.....I'D SAY MY SPEECH TAKES ABOUT 2-3 MINUTES....

THEN THEY REPLY : " THAT'S GREAT!!!!, BECAUSE WE ARE BOOKED ON THE "MISS BEHAVIN" BOAT TOMORROW".....ONCE THEY HERE THE GOOD WEATHER REPORT FROM ME, THEY BEGIN HIGH FIVING EACH OTHER WITH EXCITEMENT.


NOW WHAT THE HELL HERE? HERE I AM MANNING MY BOAT, DOING THE RIGHT THING, TRYING TO HANG AROUND AND BOOK A CHARTER.....

....WHY DON'T THESE PEOPLE ASK THE MATE ON THE "MISS BEHAVIN", THE ONE THEY HAVE BOOKED? WHY DON'T THEY ASK THE BOAT THEY BOOKED ABOUT THE WEATHER INSTEAD OF PUNISHING ME!!!?????
