We are back and well, I think I got out of the car last night and sat down and was asleep in about 2 minutes.
Trip went well weather was amazing. Fished for swords and sharks over night. The wilmington canyon do doubt seems dead other then some whites being trolled up during the day. We ended up catching a nice 20 lb mahi some tiles and some ocean perch. The ride home yesterday was at 44 knots and smooth as silk. I would say if anyone is looking for yellow fin or mahi I would look between 14 miles out and 40. Seemed to be alot of mahi around the 14 mile mark and right past the pimple the amount of bait was out of control. |
