Weak report here because not much to speak of but it may save some guys a tank of gas.

Left On the Oh Well out of OC NJ at Midnight Friday night / Saturday morning in the pitch black headed to the pocket of water that was offshore between the Baltimore and the Poormans off the 500 line. Took our time since we were running on electronics and radar. Put the lines in the water at 5AM as the sun was rising and found 70 degree water. Found some water full of porpoises, sunfish and whales spread over a mile or two. Ran jets and spreader bars for a little while to cruise around and take a look. No takers. After about an hour switched over to ballys with a few spreaders. We were hoping to find some yellows but there was not bait in the water and only picked off some stray dolphins. The water was clean and blue between 69-71 with almost an 8 degree break in spots which we woprked for about 6 hours until the fans turned on and the winds went N-NE. We headed back into the tip of the baltimore for about 30 minutes to find cold lifeless water so we picked up and ran to 50 line, started to mark bait and picked up a few blue fin. Nothing big, only kept one 40# BFT and headed home around 3 with a BFT and a 7# dophin. Came home in a nice tight 3-6 N-NE wind, with the occasional 8 footer thrown in, 16-18 knot wet ride home for about 50 miles. Put the time in, found some great looking water with life but just not the edible kind we were looking for.

Polarizer out of OC NJ stayed inside at the 30 Fathom Tuna lump and whacked up the BFT all day long. Kept a few relaesed a bunch and had a fun day.
