Saturday @ the Dog

Sorry for the late post. Got a late start on Saturday due to the fog. We went with a light, but experienced crew. Just my father, my brother and I, with the plan to head to the Hotdog. We were behind the Virginia the whole way out (could see them on the radar). Put out the spread in the midst of the rest of the fleet and decided to troll away from the crowd. Trolling East, we saw lots of porpoises and 2 whales. Then, we looked off in the distance, and see a most beautiful sight. Tuna, busting the surface. We troll over and the short rigger pops (natural squid spreader bar with blue/white islander). My brother makes fairly quick work of the fish, and I leader and stick this bft. We called it an early day and headed for the barn.

Sounds like a beautiful day, I love it when you start late and finish early with success.
