I was just thinking the same thing! It would have to be big mamma blue to eat one of those suckers. Nice work on the hoo's and the mako. Im sure it made for some nice steaks.

Nice trip Terry there sure are some hoos around.

Loads of 'em D.J. spent the night out there with us. Hey caught a little Dusky overnight. We had an 8 or 9 foot Sword in the baits for about 45 seconds. Played with a couple Blue Sharks for a while. Supprisingly, for all the surplus that has been around this year, I bet we didn't see more than 50 nice squids all night. Had the Hydro-Glo in the water tied off to the stern when I noticed the HoundFish swim up to it and they were attacking these baby fish that looked like miniture wahoos. Out of respect for the little fish, haha, I netted them with kind of a research net. Then I saw another one and grabbed his butt as well. Wicked little rascles between 25 and 29 inches long between the two. That was the old Mallard Hot Load #5 X #71/2 2 and 3/4" Dagsboro Reload Special for the BlackDuck That blowed that hole in that <Mako. I just grabbed what was on the shelf in my shed next to my gun safe and that happened to be what was left from my last day of field lay out blind duck hunting from last Janruary. Anyway, it worked. What a trip. Boys, I am getting kind of convinced on that MATANZA LURE THOUGH I WILL ADMIT THAT. D.J. will atest to it early Sunday morning beside us till I let him in on where they were all around 60' to 80' deep and way back. Anyway, can't wait to get back out. This is what we wait for all year then THE RUTTTTTTT!!!!!!!! Killem Up Fellows!!!!
