    sailfish pics, packing bags

The past few weeks have been tough with the best of the bite heading south. We've been "making the day" with several sailfish and daily shots at marlin, with marlin releases 2 of the last 3 days.....but today was just too tough......the Dragin Fly released only one sailfsih.

We're packing our bags and planning some overnighters until the tournament next week. By then, things will have changed around Los Suenos and we'll have a better idea of what's happening closer to home.

Although the bite has been tough, we're still having fun, here are some shots to prove it.

We'll give you a report when the plans are finalized, but it's gonna be a really good trip...... Quepos, Furuno, Cano Island, Drake Bay, beyond?

    Will keep you posted.

Trust me it is worth the run. We are getting 20 -60 shots almost everyday with some really nice tuna and blues mixed in.

Lee, I think there are laws for importing hairy gringo captains in your carry-on but I'll check

On the bright side, I did book my flight a couple weeks ago--Tampa to San Jose round trip for $311. I understand that they've gone back up now but if you watch Expedia and the other travel sites you can get some good deals from time to time...

Somebody smuggle him down, been trying to get him down here for years.....although since his last visit to Quepos, the town was never quite the same.....something about fly rod roosterfish catching exibitions....amoung other things.

We're heading to Drake tomorrow, putting the customers up in one of the hotels, Pirate's Cove, we got the last rooms available.

Back to Los Suenos with report and pics in a few days.
