Sailfish Bite out of Stuart, FL

I am flying down Wednesday night for the last of my 2 winter sailfish trips.

Boat is docked in Jensen Beach, smack dab in the middle of Fort Pierce & St. Lucie Inlets.

Was curious if anyone had any reports on the bite during the last few days.

    Thanks!

I talked to RT the other day. He said they are having the best season in 20 years off of the St. Lucie inlet.

    I'm heading down next week.

We fished with RT at the beginning the month. The cold front was pushing through plus the NE wind on that Sunday forced us to keep our 26' regulator at the dock. We ended up being high hook out of the pocket that day with 9 releases.

Thanks for the input guys, sounds like there continues to be large bodies of fish out there. Can't wait. Will definitely post reports and pics when I can.

I fished the Palm Beach double shot aboard the 61 viking "Foolish Pleasure" and all I can say is the bite was on fire. we saw fifteen the first day, none the 2nd but boats around us were catching, and 5 on saturday plus a 300# blue out of lake worth. Total of 585 sails caught between 28 boats in the Palm Beach Double Shot, absolutely INSANE bite in the stuart fish haven last week
