Cooler more mixed because the warmer surface is getting stirred up by a bit higher wind and now we can see what is lyin underneath? Two years ago I watched a 10 degree drop after a blow circulated up what was really there...
I have looked at some shots that indicate to me there is some genuine water slowly creeping its way up on the inside... Still pretty far south. I do my mako season out of Manasquan/ barnegat and I'm waiting til the 24th before I wet a line.
I think whats under neath is what we're waiting for... Patience... I have seen surface at 71, 8' down it dropped to 62 and at abiout 50' it dropped to 49! At least we're getting some much needed mixing so the whole column gets warmer instead of the top couple of feet...
