    RUN-OFF Offshore Report 4/27

Sunday we had the owner Bill and his wife Katherine and their son Will. We also had Bills brother Gill and his son John.

We left the dock on a beautiful morning of calm seas and light winds. We started fishing around 7:20. We went right to were we left the Mahi's the day before. Unfortunately the Mahi's were not there in force like they were the day before.

We caught a couple flip flop mahi's within the first hour of fishing. Then we caught a Wahoo on the Bridge pole. Katherine and Will cranked in a wahoo on the right long about an hour later.
John got to catch himself a nice little dolphin that bit the right flat line.
The boys kept the boat clean for me all day as they were the Swabby's for the day.

We went looking for a Blue Marlin around 11:30 for a couple hours but we never did see one.

Overall the fishing was much slower they the day before. However, instead of Mahi's it was Wahoo's.

    We ended up with 5 Wahoo's and 3 Mahi's.

    Pretty work yet again.

I could use a hunk of that wahoo. The wahoo salad from lunch was a hit and is GONE!
