Well, the weather man was off on his forecast yesterday as he always is. However.....it was in our favor for once. It was beautiful out there yesterday. Seas were calm and the winds were light and slight. Gorgious day to be on Gods ocean.
We had a Father and Son from NJ with us today. There were on the way back to NJ from FL. Glenn and Carson stopped by MHC to see how the fishing has been. That day the boats that went out had great catches. So, they saw we were open and booked us right there on the spot.![]()
We picked at the fish throughout the day. Fishing was much slower then the day before. We got covered up by the Chopper Blues early in the morning too. 7 on at once and 7 in the boxand 7 rigs trashed. Looked like they went through the garbage disposal. LOL
Early in the morning we had a little Pheasent land on the boat and he hung out with us till we got home. He got on Glenn's head on time and hung out there for a while. Later on he ended up with Captain Brian and hung out with him for a while. After that visit he was in the salon sleeping on the ride home![]()
Tuna fishing was slower today as well. We only got singles today here and there other then once. That one time we got 3 on at once and 2 of them got a free boat ride home.
We all had a great time and since there was only 2 of them they got their share of cranking in. Now they have 4 coolers of fish to deal with too.![]()
Captain Brian....what else can I say other then he is the man. He put us on the fish like he does every trip out. I never wonder if we are going to catch fish when I fish with him. Its just a matter of how many and when. Thanks Captain Brian!!!
We ended the day with 6 Yellowfin, 6 Dolphin, 4 King's, 1 Wahoo and 7 Chopper Blues.
