Rough, But good BFT fishing!

It was very rough today off MHC, only 4 boats fished or so I was told. Out of these 4 boats 8 or 9 fish were caught and 4 or 5 went to the fish house. There were 4 or 5 shorts caught. It is going to be rough again tomorrow, but a few boats are still going. Looks like Thurs, Friday and Saturday will be good fishing days.

May be it will be your time for a big one. Ijust looked and the weather update has pushed the higher winds back to the afternoon. Looks like it won't be that bad in the morning! One black boat was out today. Jeff on the Gulfstream, Run-off going tommorrow.

I'll be heading out Thurs morning around 4am still trying to find someone to go. My guy backed out..

Cat is sea trialing the new engines tommorrow morning and if all goes well and the weather is fit we will be rolling out Thursday am and laying over at Rude Inlet and then trolling our way down on Friday off Hatteras where ever we find the bait and eventually arriving MHC some time late Friday or Sat. I have a couple of extra guys coming down with GBT experience that might want to jump on board with you if you need an extra hand. They will be down for at least a few weeks if not longer and will be staying on our boat but if you get caught short I'm sure one of the guys would welcome fishing with you whenever you need a hand. That would be great. I will be fishing the whole season and don't want to lose any days if I can help it. It's tough finding guys to fish,you know how the BFT deal is.
