Updated report from Los Suenos. We fished a full day inshore yesterday. Went across the gulf to Isla Negritas. Small group of island with lots of big rocks and A LOT of moving water. Tons of bait around at the bait rock. Caught a well full of Blue Runners and started live bait/slow troll. Caught a few Jacks in the morning. Finally around 11 caught a nice Rooster. Tide started moving more and caught 3 more really nice Roosters in the 50-60 pound range. Made it home just before the afternoon storm. The Humpbacks were in the bay at Los Suenos! Nice way to end the trip, seeing a mama and baby Humpback. The Bite was 2 for 3 on Marlin yesterday. Releasing a Blue and Black. They were 50 miles to the West! Not really in my range for a charter day. Still some Wahoo around the 26 rock and some scattered Tuna. Not many Dorado around??? Longliners?? Don't know?? LOTS and LOTS of Humpbacks around. Putting on a great show with full jumps and the likes. Good stuff.
That's about it from down here. Pretty mellow around town. Surf has been really good with all the pointbreaks working.
Sorry no gay pics of me punching a heavy bag wearing Crocs. Maybe next time!
