I can't believe that its almost Labor Day which means let the games begin.

Wonder what this year is going to hold?

Good or Bad weather?? Hoping for bad!

Will it be the 4th annual 4th win this year for Contender or will Regulator step it up this year and break out the big guns?

Might see you might not. We've fished every year since it started, for Team Regulator we even made it into the Regulator calendar this year,November, hopefully this will be our (Regulator's) year, with the chance that there are no giants weighed, for either side, there will be the promise of a closer tournament.

My wife and I are expecting a little boy any day now so her two year reign of Lady Angler will end, it's killing her, and unless he arrives in the next few days I probably won't be fishing either. What can you do? The boat will fish, with or without me.

Jimmy and Anthony as well as Annie and crew do a great job and the comrodery of the event is second to none for a small boat tournament. Hopefully the offshore bite will turn on and the weather will allow for the run for most, if nothing else the lobster bake is worth the price of admission alone. I know we have the Canyon Runner guys this year so that should help.

Good luck, if you get the chance to fish, hopefully this year will be a nail biter and hopefully SF.com will cover it like others that they cover so well. I hope to get the chance to meet you if I make it out there but regardless, good luck. I'm making a few custom rods for the captain's meeting raffle so keep an eye out for a few Rais Rods, one stand-up and one trolling.
