Roddy,Fred and Fishing Fanatics Read This!

After reading Roddy Hays' remarks in the Tuna ID thread, I thought I would share a bit of information that all of us who started fishing before the digital era could use.

I found this little gadget at Brookstone. It converts your old negatives and slides into digital photos. You load the tray with either slides...or 35mm negatives. The unit connects to your computer via a USB cord and the slides/negatives are scanned and downloaded to your computer. I bought two of these units and I have to say I am very happy with them.

So, for all of you with shoe boxes full of fishing slides or negatives....here is a way to bring them to life and share them with world.

Thanks for the link Tom. I wish I had that before I scanned a bunch of my 35mm pics to post on my album here. That would have been so much easier.

Yes, Tom, thanks for that. I have literally thousands of old picts that will help with. Maybe even some of the covered wagons will come out!

    Fred,

I don't think you can run those old peeloff poloroids thru the thing.
