Roanoke River stripers

A truly slow day on the river yesterday. Did not hear of a single rock caught. It will probably take a couple more weeks to get things cranked up.

bite me 05 What part of the river did you fish. Yeah its way early. did you try for the Shad at all. They should start down river in a couple of weeks. Did hear of a couple Shad cought in the Neuse this weekend but very slow. There comming.

Fished in Hamilton, GFL. I did hear of a couple of shad here but that was all. It won't be long now.
