Thumbs up Risky Business BIG BFT REPORT 7/15 W/PIX

And plenty of action was what we had yesterday Again another fun trip yielded fantastic results. The fish that are out there right now are nothing short of slobs and to be honest when I do take people out I dont know how they are gonna stand up to these size fish unless they have some good experience. The fish we had yesterday stretched the tape to 67 inches and weighed around 170 but was 150 on the scale gutted and bleed. the fish was one of a double header with the second one pulling the hook after a blistering run and again thank god I have the extra spectra backing or the fish would have me spooled the way i fish One thing I noticed if you run HI VIS line loose it or at the very least put a 100 foot or so top shot of clear line I heard a couple guys yesterday who couldn't buy a bite and they had HI VIS line and one of there friends brought that up. I was on a boat saturday and the boat had HI VIS line and the fish were a little spooky that day and we couldn't buy a bite as well.

with that said after we boated our over fish we went looking for a underfish, trolled right over the same spot I had the double header and the down rods starts to bend, then scream. ok were on again, get that fiah to the boat eyeball him at 60 inches plus and let him go. after that it was just time to head in so we did. it was a great day of fishing yesterday as far as location with respect to the tuna tournament thats going on the next few days I would rather not even give a hint.

Next weeks weather looks good and I have monday open and weds for open or private charter, thas of course if you want to step up to one of these fish
here are some pics of the fish back at the dock.

John I dont theink the braid has the same effect as the mono hi-vis does. I feel the mono hi-vis "glows" when the sunlight hits it. saw pixs of the hi-vis mono under water down to 60 feet and the blue hi-vis and yellow had a gnarly glow to it that far down.
