Rest in peace Amy , A sad day for Paul Mann Custom Boats

Mary and all our SFC friends have been so caring and understanding of Amy's and my battle with the BC. All this love and support has been deeply heart felt by both Amy and myself. On Friday April 15, we had a beautiful service for Amy with nearly 300 friends and family from Calif, AZ, Fla, of course many from North Carolina. A special part of this service was special words and prayer from our Phat Mann Capt "Big Wave Dave" Warren. Our family of Phat Mann friends was well represented by so many of our home port Manteo NC friends. I will be putting Amy's ashes to rest in the warm waters of the Fla Keys where she loved to chase tarpon and bonefish. This special spot is also where we placed the remains of Capt Joe Johansen, a 30+ year Bud And Mary's Guide and friend of Amy's and mine. He too also was taken by Cancer just two yrs ago.

Again- thanks for all the support. I can't say that I will ever get over the pain of the loss of this wonderful person.
Yet friends like our SFC family sure help one know their not alone in sharing this loss.
