How many in all would you say you caught? I would like to make a run there if the action is good enough . I fished the Monster Ledge last week without a hit . Did you stay in Glory or head to Chicken

No problem Mikey all work and no pleasure is never any fun. We had a very respectable day, as the bluefin bite our way is always a crap shoot! We don't get those heavy consentrations like you get down off the southern lumps and structure. Up here you got to put some work into catching the bluefin. Sounds like the chunk in the deep is getting going. TIME TO GO CRUSH SOME YELLERS!!!

Hotshot! We had less than a handful there were two other sporties by us that did better probably had at least twice as many as we did. Fishing was only good in a small patch of clean water, that we found in the middle of a lot of real ugly green water. All the fish were caught in between the glory and the chicken. We found the fish breaking water again in a real small patch of clean water. Put in the time to find bait and nice water and you will probably do ok! We were 45 NM off Squan where we found the life.

nice to see the post, and thanks for sharing some details.

Hooligan - your boat is on my dock and I was pleased to see that you were out fishing when I stopped down there yesterday. I hadnt heard about anyone doing well the last few days, so this was welcome news.
