Red Grouper Bag Limit Increase

Starting tomorrow (November 2nd, 2011) the recreational red grouper bag limit increases from two to four fish in the federal waters of the Gulf of Mexico. There is still a 4 fish aggregate grouper bag limit. The recreational fishing allocation has increased from 1.36 to 1.65 million pounds for 2011. Check with your state before landing 4 red grouper to make sure you are following state laws too.
