I don't have all that much info to pass along at this time but as of 9:30pm one of our boats is already 10 for 15 on the chunk with yellowfin from 40-80 pounds.

The other boat had over 20 bites so far but lost a bunch due various reasons mostly around the fact that it is rough out there - 15-20+ knot winds and 5-6 foot seas with the occansional wave that crashes in the cockpit.

I only got a few seconds on the SAT phone and can't get through to them again but just wanted to pass along the info - this is the best chunking action with the best size fish we've seen in two years. There are about 12 boats out there and it seems everyone is in on the bite.

Hopefully it lasts through the night and the fish hang around for a few weeks!!!!
