real time report from the pelican

Just took the lines out and headin home from a fun day out of oi on the pelican with Capt arch. Worked a weed line for a while catching some slingers and gaffers but knew that is not why we came. Peeled off the line and before we could get reset we had a blue one trailing the black Bart teaser. Fish played follow the boat for about 10 minutes until he peeled off not tone seen again. About an hour later we had a blue hang himself on the right long. Somehow I was next to the rod and was now the cranker. Fish made a couple nice jumps and then headed for the deep. He just lazily swam upstream for about 20 minutes when the mate finally got the leader. Nice 225ISH fish. Got mugged one more time with gaffers and called it a day. Pics to post when I get home.

pretty work on the blue dog... I love fishing with arch... He is full of knowledge and more then willing to share. I learn so much when i fish with him.
