    One suggestion

    I saw an article written by Peter Wright in Marlin, and i really like the setup he suggest. I used Ronstan pulleys on the eyes of the rigger (instead of going right thru the eye bolt) and it makes for very smooth action when raising and lowering. I also use 400 lb mono, sometimes black, or red depending on application and it has worked well. You do have to replace it each year which is somewhat of a pain but otherwise its a great setup...
