What is everyone's favorite lure to attach to the bar??

1. Green Machine about 4 feet behind
2. B/W Ilander with Med Bally. hair trimed on the inside as well as thinned on the outside.


Have had success with the blue/pink Matanza with a select or small large or large medium Ballyhoo. But have not used it enough yet to consider it a favorite.

They absolute very first fish we ever caught on our spreader bars was a 45lb bluefin (first one of the year in OC) on an electric blue spreader bar with a brite orange skirted 2 oz jet head. I would haave never tried that combo but the bait got screwed up and my nephew broght it in and changed it to a jet head because at the time he did not know how to rig ballyhoo. I didn't even know he did it but I was glad that he did.

Last year we had a rasta bar with a big rainbow mylar jethead on the left flat and a pink bar on the right flat. We had been trolling with these for about 4 minutes when they both went down with big eyes. The jet lure came unglued but the other which I think had a seawitch got a 103lb big eye.
