Quickie Palm Beach Report

Fished out of Sailfish Marina on a buddies boat this past weekend. Overall, it was pretty slow, but we did manage a catch:

Friday - 4 sails and a couple dolphin on goggle eyes and blue runners, out front of LWI. Had a quad hookup at one point, which was a little too much with only 2 of us on the boat, but managed to boat 2 of 'em. Ran out of bait by 10:30

Friday night swording - Made a 20 mile drift, released a pup

Saturday - 2 sails and a wahoo on livies

Sunday half day - zippo...

Thanks for the report D. Doesn't sound like a bad weekend of fishing for the end of the year. 4 more months until I get to splash my boat for the season.

They won't let me play... Not enough beam or length... Havn't even looked at the dates but I think I have a stray booking or two in there... I've always done well in it but then they changed the size thing. Would love to get in it but don't have the ride...

Just looked and available all the days but the 21st... Have stream weaver comming in for that day...

I thought about calling for some professional help, but 3 things stopped me; I thought you were in the Keys, I didn't have your number, and the cold from hell had me shivering under the covers whenever I was off the boat.

How do you rig your livies? I started out with tail hooks to protect my $7 goggs, which the sails didn't seem to mind, but after burying one in my thumb and no problems with the kings I chopped them all off. Just used 7/0's on 50 lb
