    Quepos, Costa Rica Report

This is the report from Dave Dobbins aboard the LaManta out of Quepos, Costa Rica from Wednesday Feb. 27th

"Today we had on board Matt and Jen Groza who were referred to us by Dan Neal. We headed about 20 miles off of Quepos, Costa Rica and started picking away at them. It was nothing spectacular just a slow steady bite. We raised 12 sailfish with 8 bites and caught five sailfish. This double header Sailfish was the highlight of the day. We also had a big bull Dorado hang out behind the boat for a full five minutes just passing from one side to the next surfing our wake. It was exciting for about the first minute until I figured out there was no way he was going to bite anything. After a while I just wanted him to leave so I could concentrate on a fish that did want to eat. Many thanks to Matt and Jenn for a great trip. We look forward to seeing you guys next time."

    nice catch guys!!

be a hero and take pictures of the sailfish in the water, success of survival has gotta be better look at the color difference from the one you kept boat side tell the other one cooperated. costa rica is one of the supposed leaders in conservation and protection of its resources, circles hooks is a great start, lets try the photo thing going away too

see ya fishing, and the bite down south has just started to get killer so be ready there are some monster logs headed your way with lots of tunas and big marlin underneath!!current is smokin to the west so you should see them by manana or the next day. good luck
