Fish on La Mantra for sure! Great boat and Capt. Dave Dobbins will put you on them! He's from NC I think. Nice guy!

Capt. Ross Roberts owner of the Big Eye is highly recommended by me. He's from Martha's Vinyard originally and been in CR for 14 or so years. I nice topshelf place to stay is The Mango Moon--- American Expatriots own the place. Very friendly.

Dave is from Va Beach and has mated and captained out of Hatteras and OI.

Now lives in Quepos full time, married to a tica with a little tico too.

Wow Jay, Dave Dobbins...........now there's a name I haven't heard in quite awhile. Glad he is doing well, is it his boat or is he running it for someone??? I remember him saying when he first went down he had a chance to buy the boat he was running. We are both from Va. Beach, I used to see him at Tom Mitchells place (lighthouse tackle) all the time. Is his Dad still charter fishing there ????

he is running his own boat now. he used to run the swordfish and i think randy(used to be his mate on the swordfish) is running it now.
