Prime Time Venezuela Report for April 15 and 16

Just got an email from Capt Butch Cox on the Prime Time. This fishing is still going off in Venezuela. Yesterday he got 3 Blues and 3 Sails. Today they hit pay dirt with 6 Blue Marlin. Geezus H Thrice 6 Blue Marlin today and I am watching trees fall in my front yard and Geese being blown up against my roof. WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING HERE?!

Butch still has a few days available for Punta Cana in May and June. PM Me if you are interested. Punta Cana is great family destination with reasonable All Inclusives. Combine that with Great White marlin fishing and a shot at a blue or two. Sounds like a perfect quick family getaway to me.

From Baltimore a 3 day trip cost the 4 of us about $2,300 a piece. That included

    Air
    Airport transfers
    Hotel
Boat - boat is a 57 paul mann
Food and drink on the boat
Breakfast every morning - that was charged seperately but I added that to the Total.

Did not include tip or dinner.

Dinner was at a local pub type place for us every night. The 4 of us ate way too much and had a couple drinks. The bill came to a whopping $50 a night TOTAL w/TIP.

    that was for venezuela.

Punta Cana will be a bit different. Not sure of the accomodations but I just went on gonowvacations.com and saw the specials for Punta Cana. Quickly priced out a trip to a 5 star all-inclusive and plus the boat and this is what I got.

    Air
    Airport Transfers
    5-star all inclusive inchuding alcohol
boat - boat is a 57 paul mann
food and drink on the boat

    Total $2287.50

Wow - That is a bar tab to some people in georgetown

Butch is still hanging around cuz the Marlin bite is sooooooo good this year. I heard he's going to Cap Cana this year. That's the new place on 30,000 acres that makes Los Suenos look like a dwarfs' hut!

My buddy just got back from there - released 11 blues, 15 sails and two whites in four days on the Guarimba. Kept a 56kg tuna.
