Pretty Work Mahi, Reef and Backcountry Islamorada Fla Keys
Capt. Andrew, Capt Jeff, and Capt Clyde continue to put our trips on the fish.
Mahi-Mahi (dolphin fish) have been producing well with fish in the 8 to 10lb range. On most occasions our trips have been getting in on the Mahi action than moving into the reefs to get on the excellent yellowtail snapper fishing. The reef also holds mutton snapper, many species of grouper, Mangrove snapper and a whole array of fish species that call the reef home. King Mackerel are a daily blast on light tackle and can really make the drag sing.
Backcountry: Enjoy a trip of tranquility, that is untill you find the beasts of the back country. Capt Jeff has a bag of tricks up his sleeve in the back. Speckled Trout, redfish, Black drum, tarpon,, snook, jacks a complete smorgasbord of adventure. Plus some of the most beautiful scenery you'll find any where. Be alert you never know who'll be around the next corner, manatee's, Alligators, The Infamous Saltwater Crocodiles all call Islamorada home. Don't forget to look to the skies as birds of all kinds call this area home.
