    Prayers For Capt. Tom Henry

Received news that Capt. Tom Henry of the Waterdog fell from the bridge of the boat into the water in Jupiter Inlet this morning. He is in the hospital, but it is not looking good for him. Apparently he drowned and was revived, but like I said it is not looking good for him.

    Lets send some prayers everyone.

If anyone has more news let me know

By all means send him the prayer you never get around to saying but always mean to. Tom is a world class individual and a friend for 25 years.

I was at the marina as this situation unfolded and saw pictures of his boat rolling over and him falling out of the bridge. The last word I just got was that he was still kicking but had a broken neck maybe and that he was being Trauma Hawked to another hospital.

In my opinion that could be good news since they are going to great lengths not to let him go. Like I said, dig deep for a prayer for him if you would. He'd do it for you.

Frank, that is pretty much what i know as well. Broken neck, broken ribs and water in his lungs and is on life support. Let's all say a prayer for Tom that somehow the Lord will pull him through this. Tom is a great guy.

Sent to me by a friend...

He was coming in Jupiter Inlet with a charter this morning with a big break on the inlet and was thrown off the bridge. Hit his head, broke his neck in 2 places and was in the water for 10 minutes or so and 'drowned" before rescued. other assorted injuries also. He is not breathing on his own and Tom was sent by trauma hawk copter from Jupiter Hospital to St. Mary's hospital in Wedt Palm Beach.

A sharp reminder that there is no such thing as "routine". Tom is as good of a guy as you'll ever meet. Very fine and very experienced captain. Goes to show that none of us are exempt from the wrath of mother nature... Sending all the prayer I can find...
