Went out of Saint Lucie around 8 AM and went to the color break at about 250 ft, trolled ballyhoo for a while and caught 2 nice sailfish from the flat lines. First one hit and was hooked later the 2nd one came into the spread and we had to entice him to eat the bait. Both fish were released unharmed and healthy. Seas were a little sloppy for my 20' SeaPro, about 4-6 at times. Saw some small, really small dolphin out there as well.

way to go in the small boat. its a rush fighting sails from a small boat. how far do ya'll have to go to hit 250ft of water? I wish i could take my little boat to 250ft, but that would be pushing it.

10-12 miles out in 200-300 ft, I have been out 40 miles before in over 2000 ft.
