Poor Girls Open report 8/15/08

We had the Wilson charter (Team Reel Pink Tales) on the Last Straw for the Poor Girls Open out of Bahia Marina. We set up just shy of the Baltimore Canyon & had our 1st 15lb. mahi on ice as we crossed the south wall. We found a nice fishy area in about 300 fathoms behind the mouth of the canyon & picked up a blue marlin release (+/- 250lbs.) , & another 15lb. mahi. The bite shut off for the afternoon. We're currently sitting in 4th place in the billfish division, & awaiting today's catch report.
