POON HARPOONS FLYING OUT THE DOOR

    Well Not exactly !!!!

Got a call from one of our rhode island dealers the was recounting a story from one of his customers that came in to buy a second poon ????

Well it seems that there is some sort of giant bight going on in that area
they had giants swarming the boat and chunk line and could not get them to bight

so with 250 feet of line and a large poly ball they decide to stick a greenie !!!
well it did not last long and off the fish goes with every foot of line, poon and
    poly ball SeeeeeeeeeeeeYA

    Story not over yet ?

from what i was told another boat a little while later found a poly ball and all the gear the fish weiged out at 700 and change

I will post more info when i get it

But in all seriousness, I once went on a "commercial" Bluefin charter out of Portland, ME - That was the deal - stick the bluefin with a harpoon with a couple of poly balls attached and chase the balls until the fish was tame enough to load in the boat.

Not really my cuppa tea, but to each their own...

I heard about this today.Waterford CT tackle shop (Hillyers).I believe a guy shark fishing, name Jeff Ross ? He chased down a poly ball cruising by.Pulled up a darted healthy 700+lb blue fin. He got on the radio to see who lost the beast,no reply.Im not sure were he was fishing.I'll get more details.

Chris - That is a phenominal story. Your products are top notch (inspite of being a competitor). I have seen your stuff flying out the door at the local tacke shops. You guys are making quite a name for yourself in OC. Keep up the good work.
