Ponce Inlet FL Bottom Bouncing

Got out for the first time in six weeks. The water was dirty and cold. The bite was off, but we managed to find a few fish for the box and some catch and release Amber Jacks to play with.

We had a few fish for the box including this nice Scamp Grouper...


The seas were calm and the weather was nice. It was great to get out again even though the bite was off.

Thanks for the report MrPat. A very nice (and surely delicious) scamp indeed.
What's the red snapper fishing like in your area? Do they seem to be making a comeback?
