Please read DDOS attack

Sadly some of you may have seen that the site was down this morning.

Well it may happen again. Someone has implimented A denial-of-service attack (DoS attack) or distributed denial-of-service attack (DDoS attack) is an attempt to make a computer resource unavailable to its intended users. Although the means to carry out, motives for, and targets of a DoS attack may vary, it generally consists of the concerted efforts of a person or people to prevent an Internet site or service from functioning efficiently or at all, temporarily or indefinitely. Perpetrators of DoS attacks typically target sites or services hosted on high-profile web servers such as banks, credit card payment gateways, and even root nameservers.

All our staff can do is stand by and watch and take efforts to over come this.

It has been going on for a few days and we have been able to keep ahead of them.

So we are sorry for any down time.

I had issues this morning, I thought it was my laptop. Im about ready to slam this POS against the wall.

Jesus! As if you guys don't have enough on your plates anyway, now this? Man, I am sorry - sorry for you and all of us who love this wonderful house of words, pictures, and videos about the things that we love that you and Jer have worked so hard to create because, like us, you love them too. (Yeah, yeah, "it's all about the money"...Ah, bullshit. As it is for the vast majority of this business, it's all about the love more than anything else and you and I know it.)

Right now, all that I can safely say without getting exceptionally profane is that I'm sorry, J & J. I hope that you manage to keep this precious place (which it is to me and many others) whole and healthy and that you discover who the scum are who are doing this and that they get dealt with a very hard way.

Meantime, thanks so much for all. I for one am guilty of not saying that enough to the two of you.

Probably Wireman since he cant get me to stop posting any other way...

I had slow loading a couple nights ago but no shut outs. There again I wasn't on this morn... Internet bs sucks soooo bad. I have had virus's take shots at me a few times in recent months and they successfully got in the guts of one of em where I can't even c/prompt my way around it. Won't let me load stuff that can clean it. Insidious bastards have ramped up their game!

I wish I could help in some way... I hate those bastards with a passion... Hope you find the source and whop the snot out of 'em...

I had trouble loading the site over the weekend while I was away in Jamaica, but thought it was the internet service where we were staying.
