What lure do y'all run behind the planer.

I haven't used a planer rod offshore but I used a 250 Z wing all last year and it worked well on the wahoo as well as tuna and dolphin. I ran it down on 500 mono and used a snap with a #32 rubber band as a release. The Z-wing stays down even at 9+ knots and I usually had a hoo behind a sea witch on single starnd wire. It worked well along the 30 line as well.

Sounds like you've used the system for a while with good success. I just completed putting everything together "by the book", have ordered my Matanza "Box Set" and can't wait to try it out.

I know you are at Indian River. I'm docked in Ocean City, but was woundering if I could cordinate with you to stop by some time at IR to have you look at my set up and maybe get a few pointers.
